About Me
I’m a former marketing and television production professional finding my niche in the classroom. As a former USC Trojan with BAs in both journalism and communication, I channeled my love for learning and my school spirit and redirected them toward education by obtaining my teaching credential and masters in education from Concordia University. I began my teaching career at Courreges in 2004 and I have taught 5th grade GATE, 4th grade, and 3rd. I’d describe myself as: wife, mother of triplets, teacher, friend, avid book lover, aspiring author, novice photographer, animal lover. I’m a believer that all things are possible. I enjoy challenging my students to think beyond what is expected. My motto, as taken from Norton Juster from The Phantom Tollbooth, is: “So many things are possible as long as you don’t know they are impossible.”
