This event showcased how the band and orchestra have completely outgrown their stage and drew a crowd, filling every seat in the house to celebrate the hard work of these student-musicians.
Beyond the beautiful melodies, the Talbert music program provides a vital foundation for our students. Research shows that middle school band and orchestra offer incredible benefits, from enhancing brain development and focus to boosting performance in subjects like math and language arts. More importantly, it provides a sense of community and teamwork during these important middle school years.
The lasting impact of Mr. Miller’s leadership was evident in the audience, which included many "alumni" students who returned to their old campus to cheer on the next generation of performers. This cycle of support is what makes the T-Bird music program a favorite elective and a true family.
