I would describe myself as a "a glass is half-full" personality. I am a people person who thrives on time with family, nurturing friendships, and most importantly, good humor. Being able to mentor children and be a positive role-model teaching compassion, ethics, and empathy is my passion. I love working with kids..it keeps me young! When I am not teaching, you can find me traveling, writing, reading, striking the occasional yoga pose, going on walks to the beach with my family or powering through bootcamp. Being married with two children under two keeps me busy, and I love every minute of it. This is my 11th year at Courreges, currently teaching 5th grade and previously 4th. I have had the pleasure of working in each grade level with long term positions at the middle school level, an age which I truly enjoy. I received my BA from CSUF, Teaching Credential from CSULB, MS from Walden University, and also hold an Administrative Credential allowing me to serve as Principal Designee in Mr. C's absence.
